Like most things, there are qualities you like, and some not so much. Overall, these have mostly good ones, but they aren't without faults. My comments are for the king sized set in "Anthracite Grey".The good: Absolutely love the extra long top sheet so you can tuck the tail in really well. Like the deeper pockets to the fitted sheets for thicker mattresses. And like the oversized pillow cases for those extra wide pillows. The got all three of these right, where many seem to get one or two out of three. Bonus points there. As far as durability, time will tell, but the material seems to be good quality in terms of thickness, weight, and tight weave. They are definitely not lightweight. I put mine through two washing/drying cycles before using them, and they didn't show any problems with stitching or seams. So I do expect them to last. The Bad: As you can see, these are anything but wrinkle-free. It is 100% cotton, so maybe not a surprise. And frankly, no big deal to me. I won't care as long as I'm asleep. And no one but me and my wife will notice. No way we are going to iron these just so they look better. Way too much work for no necessity. What did bother me is that one both washes, they bled a bluish color. Same for the dryer lint, which means they shed some. If you get these, especially a darker color, and don't want to wake up with a blue or other color tint all over you, wash them at least twice. I'm surprised they weren't done that way, or at least better before being packaged.I also have to say that if you are looking for silky smooth sheets, look for a much higher thread count and pima cotton. These a very pliable, but the surface feels slightly rougher than some of out other sheets, even some 500 count non-pima. And that is after two washes. I'm not saying these are scratchy by any means, just that they do have a distinct surface texture that is not super smooth.Overall: It is a mix. Great oversized fitted and top sheet plus pillow cases. Colors bleed on two washes, so beware of that. Anything but wrinkle-free or silky smooth or "sateen" (per the title) if you require that.
